As we step into the new year, we are thrilled to announce exciting enhancements to our customer support team at Sonny Merryman! Effective January 1, 2024, Whitney Kopanko assumed the role as our Director of Marketing & School Bus Sales, furthering our commitment to serving our customers better.
Many of our customers and partners are familiar with Whitney’s contributions over the past 8 years, benefiting from her dedication to our marketing and communication endeavors. Her extensive experience and knowledge of the school bus industry accumulated during this time position her excellently for this new role, promising a fresh perspective and enhanced service.
Joining Whitney in her venture will be our esteemed Eastern and Western Region Sales Managers, Mike Wirt and Cory Compton, forming a dynamic team dedicated to serving you better.
While leading our school bus sales initiatives, Whitney’s proficiency in marketing and communication remains pivotal. With the impending support of a new marketing specialist, she will continue to steer our company’s marketing endeavors to better serve our customers’ needs.
Moreover, Whitney remains committed to managing our company’s electric vehicle program. Her steadfast support has been integral in aiding Virginia school districts to achieve their electrification goals. In her new capacity, Whitney will have additional time to devote to ensuring the successful deployment of Jouley electric school buses in districts across the state.
